
Regional health departments in north central Idaho and southeastern Washington saw a handful of new coronavirus infections over the weekend.
In southeastern Washington, Whitman County had the highest number of new cases with 28 reported Friday through Sunday, including one COVID-related death. There have now been 42 coronavirus deaths in Whitman County since the pandemic began.
In the Public Health – Idaho North Central District, Latah County had the highest number of new infections over the weekend with 7; Idaho and Clearwater counties both added 3 new cases; and Nez Perce County had just two positive infections over the three days.
