Valley Meals on Wheels are looking for volunteer drivers to deliver hot meals daily to senior citizens, shut-ins, and handicapped people. Drivers are needed weekly, monthly or to fill in. Substitute drivers are especially needed to work weekends or in another driver’s absence. Couples, clubs, or businesses can rotate scheduled drivers. Volunteers are the lifeblood of Meals on Wheels and the main reason the program has been so successful. In many cases, volunteers are the only contact some clients have for days.
