Coronavirus infections have forced both Lewis-Clark State basketball teams to cancel their planned home games this weekend.
The Warrior women were set to host Simpson University for two games Friday and Saturday at the Activity Center. However, a positive COVID test result within the Simpson program has forced the teams to scrap their games. It’s unknown if the games will be re-scheduled.
Meanwhile, the 4th ranked LC men had to cancel their game Saturday night with in-state rival College of Idaho due to a positive test result within the Warrior program. No make-up date has been announced. The teams will play a best of three series later this season to determine a post-season berth.
Both LC teams are back in action January 22nd and 23rd. The LC men will host Yellowstone Christian for two-games at the Activity Center, while the Warrior women travel to Seattle to play NCAA Division II Seattle Pacific.
