A combined 201 new coronavirus cases and four deaths were reported Thursday in north central Idaho and southeastern Washington as the rate of infection continues to rise.
The Public Health – Idaho North Central District says the region has seen 1,000 new cases in the last 17 days. Nez Perce County once again reported the most new infections with 51, including one death. Latah County added 16 cases, Idaho County reported 19 new positives, including two deaths. And Clearwater County and Lewis County each reported 12 new COVID-19 infections.
In southeastern Washington, Whitman County saw its numbers jump by 48, including one COVID-related death. Asotin County reported a single-day high with 42 new cases and Garfield County added one new coronavirus infections Thursday. (Lewiston Tribune)
