A suspect involved in two Lewiston armed robberies was apprehended by Moscow police Monday night.
According to Lewiston police, 59-year-old Chris Prelle was stopped and detained by Moscow police at around 10:40pm after they were contacted and given information on Prelle and a vehicle description.
Prelle is accused of robbing both the Liberty Mart in north Lewsiston October 27th and the Xpress Mart in the Lewiston Orchards Monday night.
Lewiston Police detectives conducted an interview with Prelle and he reportedly confessed to both robberies. Authorities also found physical evidence in Prelle’s possession linking him to both robberies.
Prelle is believed to be from Long Beach, California, but has been staying at a residence in Clarkston.
