In his 29th covid-19 press conference since March, Idaho Governor Brad Little announced Idaho will stay in stage 4 of recovery for yet another two weeks and emphasized personal responsibility to fight the spread of the novel coronavirus.
Eastern Idaho has the greatest rates of spread according to current metrics. Fourteen hospitals in south and southeastern parts of the state even released a joint statement today saying that they’re seeing the highest rate of hospitalizations for Covid-19 since the pandemic began and it’s putting a strain their resources. Governor Little agreed.
Little again also emphasized the need for wearing masks, social distancing and washing hands. The governor and his coronavirus task force will continue to evaluate statewide metrics every two weeks to see if the state can move out of Stage 4 of the Idaho Rebounds plan.
