During his press conference this afternoon, Idaho Governor Brad Little announced that the state would remain in stage 4 of its Idaho Rebounds coronavirus recovery for yet another two weeks. He said the state is on the right track but that hospitalization rates state-wide are keeping Idaho from moving forward, and he reminded Idahoans to stay vigilant heading into the fall season.
Governor Little also touted how well the state is doing economically amidst the pandemic, emphasizing help that’s been given to small businesses and education. He especially highlighted Idaho’s low unemployment rate, which is half the national average at 4.2 per cent, making it the third best in the country.
Little concluded the conference by stressing the need to keep up social distancing, hand-washing, wearing masks and getting flu shots.
