A new center to assist the youth of Clarkston and Lewiston is opening this Sunday. The center, located at 1633 10th Avenue in Lewiston, will specifically be for youth aged 12-17 who are experiencing homelessness or unsafe living situations. Executive Director Michelle King says the center is meant to provide local kids with basic needs: Food, shelter, showers, laundry facilities, and safety. Check out two virtual tours below.
The Drop-In Center is open every day from 2:30 to 7pm. In order to stay the night, youth must be students in Lewiston or Clarkston. Find out more info about the LC Valley Youth Resource Center here.
And stay tuned for a more in-depth story next week!
