Vista Outdoor expects to beat earnings expectations, announces CFO transition

Ammunition and outdoor recreation equipment maker Vista Outdoor says
it expects to beat its fiscal fourth-quarter adjusted earnings
outlook, after seeing “strong demand” within its commercial
ammunition, cycling, and outdoor cooking categories. The company says
sales are expected to be within guidance ranges, though net earnings
will be negatively impacted as Vista expects to take an impairment
charge. Vista Outdoor is expected to report earnings in early May,
with projected sales of 454 million dollars. Meanwhile, the company
has appointed Sudhanshu Priyadarshi as its chief financial officer,
replacing Mick Lopez, who was CFO the past two years. Priyadarshi is a
20-year retail finance professional who was most recently CFO of
Flexport.  (Marketwatch.com)
