No one was injured in an early morning shop fire in the Lewiston Orchards. Lewiston Fire Department crews were dispatched at around 3:30 AM this (WED) morning to a structure fire in the 400 block of Preston Avenue. First arriving crews found an unattached shop fully involved with flames, which were knocked down in about 15 minutes. The fire was caused by an electric heater left to close to combustibles. There was no damage to the nearby residence, but the shop and all contents were a total loss, with an estimated damage of 75-thousand dollars. (Lewiston Fire Department)
