A 6.5 magnitude earthquake was recorded 73 miles northeast of Meridian in southwestern Idaho at 4:55pm Pacific Time Tuesday afternoon.
No injuries or damage have been reported.
The temblor lasted for about 20 to 30 seconds and was felt as far north as Coeur d‘Alene and as far east as Bozeman, Montana.
