The Public Health – Idaho North Central District has confirmed three additional cases of COVID-19 in Nez Perce County, while officials in Whitman County have confirmed one more case.
North Central District Health Director Carol Moehrle says the three Nez Perce County cases all involve patients over the age of 70.
The new case in Whitman County involves a female in here teens. Health officials are working to establish any close contacts that may have been exposed.
There are now 5 confirmed coronavirus cases in the north central Idaho districts, consisting of Nez Perce, Clearwater, Idaho, Latah and Lewis counties.
Whitman County now has a total of three positive COVID-19 cases. (Lewiston Tribune)
