The Public Health — Idaho North Central Health District (PH-INCHD) has confirmed the first positive case of Covid-19 in Nez Perce County.
A person under 60 years of age has tested positive for COVID-19. According to PH-INCHD, the investigation is in the preliminary stages. The individual did not require hospitalization and is recovering at home. They are releasing limited information to protect the patient’s identity.
If other people are found to have possibly been exposed, public health officials will provide guidance to them and will monitor them closely for symptoms the PH-INCHD press release said.
