More north central Idaho school districts have announced closures out of concern over the coronavirus outbreak, while administrators work to craft plans for distance-learning options.

Lewiston and Lapwai school Districts previously announced two-week closures through at least their spring break. Districts in Kamiah and Troy close Tuesday, with students are scheduled to return on April 6th.

The Nezperce School District closes Friday for a one-day closure, while the Culdesac School District closes Wednesday and will tentatively resume classes March 30th after spring break.

The Moscow School District is closed for two weeks following its spring break this week, and the Salmon River Joint School District in Riggins closes Wednesday, with classes tentatively resuming on March 30th after spring break.

All Saints Catholic School in Lewiston has also suspended classes, with a return to school expected by March 30th.

Meanwhile, the Lewiston School District is providing lunches for students at Sacajawea and Jenifer junior high schools weekdays, and the Clarkston and Asotin school districts, who closed schools today through April 24th, offer “grab and go” meal options.  (Lewiston Tribune)
