Idaho Commerce Dept. holds tourism meeting in Lewiston on March 18

The Idaho Commerce – Tourism Development office holds statewide meetings in March in each of Idaho’s seven designated travel regions – including Lewiston’s Region 2. Attendees will learn about Idaho Tourism marketing efforts, available resources, and grant rules and opportunities. Those in attendance may also share news and concerns affecting their region. Each Idaho Travel Council (ITC) representative will attend the meeting in their specific region. Current Idaho Regional Travel and Convention Grant recipients, organizations interested in learning more about the 2020 grant application, and anyone involved in Idaho’s tourism industry are invited to attend. The Region 2 meeting in Lewiston takes place Wednesday, March 18th from 9 AM to 4 PM at Lindsay Creek Vineyards at 3107 Powers Avenue. Other meetings are scheduled for Idaho Falls, Twin Falls, Coeur d’Alene, and Boise, after which the Idaho Travel Council meets to discuss insights learned during each of the regional tourism tour meetings and any other business.
