Washington Gov. Inslee visits Clarkston High School, WWCC

Washington Governor Jay Inslee made stops at Clarkston High School and Walla Walla Community College on Tuesday as part of a swing through southeastern Washington. The former Democratic presidential hopeful spoke to students about his White House bid, the importance of casting a vote, and climate change. Inslee said the generation of those currently in high school and college are in a unique position to tackle climate change, including reducing the carbon footprint and focusing on jobs in clean energy. The governor also spoke on education in the Evergreen State, noting large increases given to K-12 teachers under his watch.  (Lewiston Morning Tribune)
