The Idaho Department of Fish and Game is asking the public for information regarding the poaching of a mule deer buck off of Lindsey Creek Road last week near Lewiston.

The 3×4 mule deer buck was found shot and left Friday afternoon, January 31st, near the south end of Lindsey Creek Road. The buck was likely shot sometime between Thursday afternoon, January 30, to Friday morning. The mule deer season has been closed for over 2 months in that area.
Anyone with information regarding the unlawful taking of the buck can contact the Idaho Department of Fish and Game Regional Office (208)799-5010 or the Citizens Against Poaching Hotline at 1-800-632-5999. Callers can remain anonymous and might be eligible for a reward if the information leads to an arrest and conviction. (IDFG)
