Lewis-Clark State’s Josiah Westbrook and Kiara Burlage have been name the Frontier Conference men’s and women’s basketball Players of the Week.
Josiah Westbrook
Westbrook, a senior from Bellingham, Washington helped lead the Warrior men to a pair of league wins over Montana State – Northern and 8th ranked Providence over the weekend. He scored a career-high 25 points in the upset win over Providence.
Kiara Burlage
Burlage, a junior from Columbia Falls, Montana played a crucial role in the women’s two wins. She recorded a double-double of 12 points and 11 rebounds in the victory over 11th ranked Northern Thursday, and went 9 for 9 at the free throw line in Saturday’s comeback win over Providence.
Both LC teams are back in action this week with home conference games against Montana Western Thursday and Rocky Mountain Saturday. (KOZE Sports)
