Warrior basketball teams win Frontier Conference home openers

The Lewis-Clark State basketball teams opened their Frontier Conference home schedules with wins over Montana State – Northern Thursday night at the Activity Center.

Kiara Burlage recorded her fourth career double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds as the LC women ended a three-game losing streak with a 57-54 victory. Defensively, LC forced 23 turnovers and combined for 14 steals as a team. The 25th ranked Warriors improved to 10-5 overall and 2-3 in league play.

Trystan Bradley

Meanwhile, Lewiston’s Trystan Bradley tied a career-high with 5 three-pointers and scored a team-high 19 points in leading the 12th ranked LC men to an 83-73 win. Josiah Westbrook added four 3’s and scored 16 as the Warrior men improve to 16-1 overall and 4-1 in the Frontier.
