Lewiston’s St. Joseph Regional Medical Center has named Tim Trottier as the hospital’s new chief executive officer.

Trottier comes to St. Joe’s from Spring View Hospital, another LifePoint Health facility in Lebanon, Kentucky, where he has served as CEO since 2014.

He officially takes the post next Monday, replacing Mike Poore, who has been serving as interim CEO while the hospital conducted a search to find its next permanent leader.

Prior to joining LifePoint, Trottier served in a number of executive leadership roles for other healthcare organizations, including as senior vice president of regional operations for Phoebe Putney Health System in Albany, Georgia; and as CEO of a number of hospitals, including facilities in Pennsylvania, Mississippi, and West Virginia.

Trottier earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Seattle University and a Master of Business Administration from Oklahoma City University. He is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and a Certified Professional in Patient Safety.  (SJRMC
