The American Automobile Association is predicting another busy holiday weekend with more than 55 million Americans expected to travel over Thanksgiving.
Matthew Conde with Triple-A Idaho says another uptick in the number of people heading out for a major holiday continues the post-recession trend seen in recent years.
Triple-A expects to rescue more than 600 stranded travelers over the holiday weekend due to break downs and flat tires.
Motorists are encouraged to have their vehicles inspected by a trusted mechanic prior to traveling for Thanksgiving to avoid potentially costly repairs, and always travel with an emergency kit to be safe. (AAA-Idaho)
