
Both Lewis-Clark State basketball teams picked up season-opening wins over Yellowstone Christian Monday at the Activity Center in Lewiston.

Junior Kiara Burlage put up a career-high 20 points in leading the Warrior women to a 105-42 blowout of the Centurions. Senior Jamie Nielson added 16 points and junior Heidi Sellmann had a double-double of 10 points and 11 rebounds in her Warrior debut.
LC will travel to Missoula Friday for an exhibition game against NCAA Division I Montana.
Meanwhile, five players scored in double figures as the Warrior men downed the Centurions 94-47.
Senior Josiah Westbrook led the offense with 16 points.

Defensively, LC allowed just three second-half field goals in the win.
The Warrior men travel to Oregon this weekend for a pair of games against Northwest Christian College and Willamette University.
