Firefighters, police and first responders from the LC Valley and surrounding areas will pay tribute Wednesday to the emergency responders and civilians who perished in the terrorist attacks on September 11th, 2001 with a procession of emergency vehicles.
Asotin County Fire District #1 Chief Noel Hardin says while there is no formal ceremony planned this year, the public is invited to show support along the procession route.
Fire engines and other vehicles will gather at 2nd and Monroe Street in Asotin at 5pm. The procession will begin at 5:30pm and proceed past fire stations in Asotin, Asotin County Fire District 1, Clarkston and Lewiston where flags will be lowered to half-staff as the vehicles pass.
A map of the route is also available on the Facebook pages for Z-Rock 96.5, The River 103.9, and AM 950 KOZE, as well as koze.com. (KOZE News)
