The Idaho State AA American Legion Baseball Tournament gets underway Friday at Lewiston’s Harris Field.
The 8-team double-elimination tournament hosted by the Lewis-Clark Twins, features teams from across the state vying for the state title and an automatic berth into the American Legion Northwest Regional Tournament.
Friday’s schedule has the Coeur d’Alene Lumberman facing the Boise Capitals at 10am. At 1pm the East Idaho Rockies from Rigby meet the Nampa Chiefs. Game three will have the Rocky Mountain Avalanche of Meridian playing the Pocatello Runnin’ Rebels. Following Opening Ceremonies at 7pm, the Lewis-Clark Twins square-off with the Idaho Falls Bandits with live coverage on AM 950 KOZE and online at koze.com.
Beginning Saturday all games will be broadcast at koze.com and all Twins games and the state title game will be carried live on AM 950 KOZE and koze.com.
The tournament runs through Tuesday, July 31st. (KOZE Sports)
