Four finalists have been named in the search for the next superintendent for the Clarkston School District.
The finalists include: Jared Hoadley, assistant superintendent of Mead School District in Mead, Washington; Thaynan Knowlton, superintendent of Kettle Falls School District in Kettle Falls, Washington; Josh Middleton, superintendent of Middleton School District in Middleton, Idaho; and Shauna Schmerer, superintendent of Almira School District in Almira, Washington.
Interviews with the finalists will take place on Wednesday and Thursday in the Clarkston School District Office, at 1294 Chestnut Street. Community forums will be held with Middleton and Schmerer on Wednesday, followed by forums with Hoadley and Knowlton on Thursday. Officials will announce forum times once they are finalized.
The person selected will replace Superintendent Tim Winter, who has accepted a job as the leader of the South Kitsap School District in western Washington. (Lewiston Tribune)
