Higher water flows continue from Dworshak Dam this week as the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers tests a unit at the facility.

Workers are running flow test on its Unit Three turbine.

The work started Monday night, when the dam’s discharge was increased from 1,600 cubic feet per second to 2,400 cfs, and finally reaching a flow rate of 5,900 cfs.

The tests run until Thursday 5 PM when the discharge returns to 1600 cubic feet per second. (USACE)
