The body of a 63-year-old Weippe man missing since last month was located Thursday in a ravine below State Highway 11.
The Clearwater County Sheriff’s Office reported David Carrico’s body was found about 400 feet from his vehicle, about 11 miles west of Weippe. The body was taken to a funeral home in Orofino pending positive identification.
Carrico was reported missing Tuesday after last being seen leaving his residence outside of Weippe on September 24th. The incident remains under investigation. (Lewiston Tribune)
