Lewiston Rosauers will soon be home to Tri-State Memorial Hospital and Medical Campus’ first Tri-State Convenient Care Clinic.
The hospital announced it will open the clinic inside the Thain Road store in October. Tri-State says the move provides the community with a fast, convenient, affordable alternative to receiving healthcare if they cannot get in to see their primary care provider. The clinic will provide same day service with no appointment necessary for non-life threatening injury and illness including sore throats, sinus infections, colds and flu, minor cuts and sprains, as well offer basic lab services, vaccinations, wellness exams, and sports physicals.
The clinic will be open seven days a week, and operating hours will align with Rosauers Pharmacy.
Services will be cash based and patients may personally submit a claim to their insurance. The convenient care clinic will have two exam rooms and be staffed by Nurse Practitioners.
If someone is not currently established with a provider, the clinic also offers easy access for referrals to primary care providers at Tri-State. It’s the first of several convenient care clinics that Tri-State plans to open in the LC Valley and surrounding areas. Additionally, the Tri-State Clinical Nutrition Department will offer a wellness program at Rosauers in Lewiston and Moscow.
The program will be introduced in phases with the first beginning next month in Lewiston. (Tri-State Hospital)
