The American Automobile Association is predicting a record number of travelers over the 4th of July Holiday.
Matthew Conde with Triple-A Idaho says a strong economy and a willingness to spend time with family and friends are just a couple of reasons why.
Despite higher gasoline prices than a year ago, Conde says motorists are can expect some leveling off of prices at the pump at least in the short term.
Of the expected 47 million holiday travelers nationwide, nearly 40 million will be doing so by motor vehicle – a five percent increase over last year. (American Automobile Association)
