Due to poor weather conditions predicted in Oregon, the Lewis-Clark State baseball team will now host Corban University in a four-game NAIA West series at Harris Field in Lewiston.

The series had already been moved to Newberg, Oregon, but steady rain and deteriorating field conditions forced the teams to flip the series to Lewiston.

The teams will open the series with a single game Saturday at 5pm, followed by a noon double header Sunday and a single game at 11am Monday.

All four games will be carried live on AM 950 KOZE and online at koze.com.

Meanwhile, the Warriors moved up one spot to #5 in the latest NAIA Top-25 National Poll.

The Warriors, who went 9-2 between polls, received 426 points in this week’s ratings.

Faulkner of Alabama continues to hold down the top spot, followed by Georgia Gwinnett, Southeastern of Florida and Oklahoma Wesleyan.

LC is the only NAIA West team in the poll, though Corban is among the schools receiving votes. (KOZE Sports)
