Warrior men win Frontier Conference Quarterfinal Playoff over Providence

Fueled by a 50 point second-half the Lewis-Clark State men’s basketball team rolled past the University of Providence Tuesday night at the Activity Center 79-62.

Senior Jeremy Franklin led four Warriors in double figures with 18 points. Junior Race Martin added 16, while juniors Andre McCowan and Cory Dollarhide put up 13 and 10 points respectively. 

For the game LC shot 55.6 percent from the floor and made 15 of 18 free throws in the win. 

The Warriors improve to 23-8 overall and advance to the Frontier Conference Semi-Finals Friday night at 6pm Pacific Time against the University of Montana Western in Dillon, Montana.

 

Meanwhile, the men’s program has all but guaranteed itself a berth into the NAIA National Tournament based on it’s #18 national ranking in the final regular season poll. 

LC moved up one spot after splitting its two road games last week. (KOZE Sports)
