A bomb threat at Asotin High School forced an evacuation Wednesday.
At Approximately 11:10am, responders from the City of Asotin Police Department, the Asotin County Sheriff’s Office and Asotin County Fire District were alerted to a bomb threat made in the High School for 2:45pm.
A full-scale sweep of the entire school including the elementary was conducted and no explosives were found. The school was deemed all safe at 1pm.
Officials say the Asotin School Resource Officer will be completing a full investigation into the incident. (Asotin Police Department)
