Three teenage boys police say caused at least $30,000 in damage to sports fields in Asotin County by spinning doughnuts in a pickup have been taken into custody.
A 15-year-old and two 14-year-olds were apprehended Friday and have each been charged with four felonies involving malicious mischief and taking a vehicle without permission.
Authorities say the damage occurred at the Field of Dreams complex in the Clarkston heights, as well as at Highland Elementary and Lincoln Middle schools.
One of the boys was released to his parents while two who are accused of driving the vehicle are being detained until a court hearing set for Monday. (AP, Lewiston Tribune)
