With 1,100 more ballots being counted by the Asotin County Auditor’s Office, John Murray has extended his lead over Melyssa Andrews in the Clarkston City Council race 685 to 627.
Auditor Darla McKay said 37 ballots still need to be counted, along with any that arrive in the mail Thursday. As of Wednesday, voter turnout in Asotin County was at 45 percent.
According to Wednesday’s results, Clarkston’s emergency medical services levy is still a go, with a 69 percent approval rating, along with a levy lid lift for the Asotin County Fire District.
