A Payette, Idaho man was killed following a single-vehicle accident early Saturday morning near Riggins along U.S. Highway 95.
The Idaho County Sheriff’s Department says 31-year-old Chet Johnson was southbound near mile marker 198 at 12:30 a.m. in a 2001 Dodge pickup pulling an empty gooseneck livestock trailer when he went off the east side of the highway impacting the rock wall.

Johnson, who was not wearing a seatbelt, succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
