Lewis-Clark State forward Race Martin has been chosen as the Frontier Conference Men’s Basketball Player of the Week after the Warriors’ season-opening victories over Northwest Indian College last weekend.
Martin, a 6-foot-6 junior forward from Pullman, averaged 23 points on 16 for 21 shooting from the field as the Warriors won 114-47 and 119-94.
Additionally, he averaged 7.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists and two steals per game. He also was six of eight from 3-point range and 10 for 10 from the free throw line.
The Warriors return to the court Sunday after at 2 to take on Walla Walla University at the Activity Center.
