U.S. Highway 95 has re-opened in both directions south of Tensed between Meckel Road and Plummer following a semi-truck rollover early Wednesday morning.
Idaho State Police say an Explosive Response Team set up an evacuation zone of a half mile until the truck’s cargo was safely unloaded and removed from the scene.
The highway was blocked for four and a half hours – re-opening around 6:30 AM.
The driver of the semi, 38-year-old David Sturgil of Blanchard was uninjured, though he did receive a citation from ISP.
