A bomb threat briefly evacuated Asotin High School Monday afternoon, but no device was found.
The Asotin Police Department says the school was cleared at about 2:40 PM when the threat was found scrawled on an area inside the school. Many students had already left for the day, but others waiting for parents or involved in afternoon events were removed from the building.
A sweep of the school and adjoining elementary school turned up nothing, and the school opened for evening events at just after 4 o’clock.
No suspect has been identified. (Lewiston Tribune)
