The Pullman City Council has approved a 14-point-8 million dollar real estate deal between Washington State University and the Pullman-Moscow Regional Airport.

The council on Tuesday gave its unanimous endorsement to the acquisition and transfer of about 125 acres from WSU to the airport as part of a project to expand and revamp its runway.  The deal includes 28 buildings and orchards where plant and animal research is conducted.

A Pullman city attorney says the last steps are to execute the purchase and sale agreement and set a closing date. (Lewiston Tribune)
