A Spokane man died early Thursday morning in a car accident near Weippe.
According to the Idaho State Police, 41-year-old Keith Pugh was traveling east in a 1990 Ford Explorer on Messellshell Road just after 1:30 a.m. when the vehicle went off the right shoulder and into the ditch, about 8.6 miles east of Weippe.
Pugh was ejected from the vehicle, which came to rest on its passenger side, on top of the driver, who died at the scene.
Pugh was not wearing a seatbelt. (ISP)
