LCSC’s President Fernandez to Retire in 2018

LEWISTON, ID — LCSC President Fernández to retire at the end of 2017-18 school year

Lewis-Clark State College President Tony Fernandez will retire from his post at the end of the upcoming school year.  The 70-year-old Fernández on Tuesday made the announcement to step down next spring.

Fernández became the fifteenth president of LCSC in March of 2011. He served as Interim President for one year and as Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs at the institution from 2003 to 2010.

Fernández is also chair of the St. Joseph Regional Medical Center Board of Trustees, and currently serves on the Governor’s Idaho Health Professions Education Council, the Regence BlueShield of Idaho Board of Directors, and the Valley Vision Board of Directors.
