Jurors continue their deliberations in the re-trial of a Lewiston man originally convicted of killing his ex-wife six years ago.

The jury has yet to reach a verdict after two days of deliberating in Coeur d’Alene in the case of Joseph Thomas, who was initially found guilty of first-degree murder in the 2011 strangulation death of Beth Irby-Thomas at her Lewiston residence.  However, his conviction was overturned by the Idaho Supreme Court on appeal, and the case was remanded back to the lower court.

Jurors have deliberated for about 13 hours since closing arguments on Tuesday and continue their work Thursday.
