Series opens Friday with four games

The 2017 Avista NAIA World Series gets underway Friday with four games scheduled at Harris Field.

At 8:30am #7 seed Science and Arts of Oklahoma takes on #10 seed The Master’s of California.

At 11:30am #3 seed Oklahoma Wesleyan meets #6 seed Missouri Baptist.

At 3pm #8 seed Hope International of California squares-off against 9thh seeded William Carey of Mississippi.

Following the opening ceremony at 6:30pm, #5 seed Lewis-Clark State opens tournament play against #4 seed Keiser of Florida.

The top two seeds – Oklahoma City and Faulkner of Alabama receive first-day byes and will initiate series play on Saturday.
