Lewis-Clark State To Honor Former Baseball Coach Cheff/Team To Host C of I

Lewis-Clark State College will honor former baseball coach Ed Cheff with a ceremony Friday at 6pm to officially name the baseball facility Ed Cheff Stadium.

Cheff led the program for 34 years while amassing more than 1,700 wins and an unprecedented 16 NAIA National Championships.  Cheff, who retired following the 2010 season will be in attendance and is expected to address the crowd during the ceremony.

The 17th ranked Warrior baseball team will then host in-state rival College of Idaho in the first game of a four-game NAIA West weekend series at 6:15pm.
