An Orofino teenager reported missing over the weekend has been found safe at an Orofino residence.
According to the Orofino Police Department, 17-year-old Kristian Perez was located just before 1 a.m. Tuesday morning, staying at a home in the 12,000 block of Indio Ave.
He had been missing since Saturday night when he left the Orofino High School prom at the National Guard Armory along U.S. Highway 12.
Authorities say Perez is in good health, and was taken into custody on a runaway charge.
Orofino police say the 26-year-old with whom Perez was staying may face charges for providing assistance to the teenager. (LMT)
