
Lewis-Clark State’s J.J. Robinson has been named the NAIA West Player of the Week.
The senior first-baseman from Colfax, Washington went 10-for-26 from the plate with three doubles and four homers in games against Oregon Tech and Saint Katherine College. He also scored eight times with a 1.000 slugging percentage to help the Warriors go 6-0 in the week.
Robinson leads the team in homeruns with 13 and RBI with 47.
The Warriors are back on Harris Field this weekend as they host College of Idaho in a four-game NAIA West series.
Friday’s first pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m. after the dedication of the naming of Ed Cheff Stadium.
