The Grangeville-based Mountain View School District will allow its staff to carry firearms.
The Mountain View School Board on Monday voted 4-1 in favor of staff members having the option of carry weapons with board approval and specified training.
The district includes schools in Grangeville, Kooskia and Elk City.
Individuals who want to carry on district premises can submit an application to the district to be considered for training with the Idaho County Sheriff’s Department. (Lewiston Tribune)
