A student charged with killing one classmate and wounding three others at a high school south of Spokane in 2017 has pleaded not guilty to all the charges in adult court.

17-year-old Caleb Sharpe entered the pleas Friday in Spokane County Superior Court. Sharpe faces one charge of premeditated first degree murder, three charges of attempted first degree murder and 51 second degree assault charges for the shootings at Freeman High School.

Sharpe was 15 at the time, and Judge Michael Price ruled last month that he would be tried as an adult.

Sharpe remains in the Spokane County Jail on 1 million dollars bail as he awaits a trial scheduled for early October. (AP)
