President Donald Trump has approved a federal disaster declaration for north-central Idaho following major flooding earlier this year.

The declaration request from Idaho Governor Brad Little came after massive rainfall and subsequent during the second week of April caused millions of dollars in damage to homes, public lands, property, and businesses.

The disaster declaration covers areas in Latah, Idaho, Lewis, Adams, and Valley Counties, as well as on the Nez Perce Reservation. (Idaho Sen. Mike Crapo)
