A Clarkston man implicated in a Lewiston shooting was arrested Wednesday night following an hours-long standoff in Asotin County.

There were no injuries in either incident.

Authorities say 30-year-old Bren Goodnight came out of a trailer home in the 1100 block of Clarkston’s 16th Street shortly before 9 PM.

Lewiston Police say Goodnight is a suspect in a possible shooting that occurred in the early morning hours Wednesday in the 3100 block of Ninth Street in Lewiston. Officers were alerted that he may have fled to the west Clarkston neighborhood. Goodnight remained barricaded inside for more than two hours before surrendering.

He faces two counts of aggravated assault, one count of unlawful possession of a firearm, and a $250,000 bond for his alleged role in the Orchards shooting. He was booked into the Asotin County Jail and will likely be moved to Lewiston. (Lewiston Tribune)
